Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about repairs, installs, seasonal service, and how we work.
Estimates, pricing & billing
Yes. We provide free over-the-phone estimates and guidance. If we come on-site, we explain labor and parts before work begins so you are not surprised by the bill.
We will tell you how pricing works when you call — including whether a service call or diagnostic applies in your situation. Ask when you schedule.
For many repairs we can give a clear range or firm price after we see the issue. Larger jobs or installs may use a written scope once we have measured your yard.
If we uncover additional damage, we stop and explain options before doing extra work that changes the price.
Scheduling & service area
Call or text 385-866-4210. We will find a time that works, confirm your city is in our Utah County service area, and discuss what you are seeing.
We serve homes and businesses across Utah County including Provo, Orem, Lehi, American Fork, Spanish Fork, Eagle Mountain, and surrounding communities.
When capacity allows, we try to help with urgent leaks or stuck zones. Call and describe the problem; we will be honest about timing.
Know where your main sprinkler shutoff and controller are. Clear pets from back gates. If you have HOA irrigation rules, have those handy.
Repairs
Common work includes broken or stuck heads, leaks in valve boxes, wiring and solenoids, timer and smart-controller issues, and coverage adjustments.
Sometimes. Valve and pipe problems often sit a few inches under mulch or lawn. We dig carefully and explain before opening a larger trench.
New installations
Yes. We design zones for your soil, slope, and planting beds — not a one-size grid — so you get efficient coverage in Utah County's climate.
Often yes. We evaluate your existing valve manifolds, water pressure, and controller capacity before quoting an add-on.
Winterization & spring start-up
In Utah County, schedule a blowout before hard freezes — typically in the fall. Waiting until a deep freeze risks cracked pipes and costly repairs.
We bring the system online carefully, check for winter damage, walk zones for leaks and coverage, and verify your timer schedule for spring weather.
DIY help & phone support
Yes. We offer free over-the-phone help for smaller issues when it is safe. If you need parts, tools, or digging, we will recommend a visit.
Yes for reasonable troubleshooting. If the call turns into a full diagnostic, we may suggest scheduling a service visit.
Warranty
All parts and labor on repairs and installations are covered for 1 year from the date of service. If something we worked on fails under normal conditions within that period, we come back and fix it at no charge.
We stand behind the quality of the blowout — if we missed a zone or didn't follow the right procedure, we'll make it right. But winterization is a risk-reduction service, not a freeze guarantee. Utah County winters can be severe enough to cause freeze damage even in a properly blown-out system, and we can't warrant against that.
Damage from external causes — physical impact (mowing over heads, digging, vehicles), freeze damage, water pressure issues from the city supply, or problems with parts of the system we didn't service. The warranty covers our work, not the system as a whole.
